We are currently recruiting for a SENCO Consultant to guide us with Access Arrangements.
SENCO Consultant
We are looking for someone who has proven expertise in JCQ Access Arrangements regulations with the ability to interpret and apply legislative updates. You will have developed processes and procedures for building the evidence required to remain compliant with JCQ regulations and you will either already have an understanding of what that might look like for a distance learning provider, or you will be confident in your ability to transfer this knowledge from mainstream education and into alternative provision.
Could you be a distance learning tutor with 365³Ô¹Ï²¿Âä?
Having the right tutor makes a huge difference to a student’s experience. Time and again we hear from our students who tell us that their tutor gave them confidence to succeed, encouraged them to keep studying and helped them gain the qualification(s) they needed to go to university or to change career.
Tutoring online is different from classroom teaching. Although both require a high level of subject knowledge and the skills to guide and work with students, distance learning tutors focus more heavily on providing high quality feedback.
At 365³Ô¹Ï²¿Âä we look for tutors who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject in their feedback and guidance to every student.
Gcse and a level tutors
What to expect
You would be a perfect fit with us if you have:
- A degree in the subject you will be tutoring
- A recognised teaching qualification
- An Enhanced DBS certificate ideally dated within the last 3 years
- Recent experience of teaching the subject you will be tutoring
- Experience of teaching or tutoring younger learners (14-18) and young adults (18-25) and an understanding of and empathy for the different challenges they may face with online learning
- Experience of delivering 1-1 online tutorials to students of all ages, but especially younger learners.
